TV WEEK competition - See Michael Bublé Perform in London
1. Instructions on 'how to enter' and prizes form part of conditions of entry. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry.
2. Entry is open to Australian residents who are able to take the prize as offered, hold a valid passport and who are able to travel to London anytime between June 20 and July 15, 2013. If winner is under 18 years of age, winner must be accompanied by their legal parent or guardian, who will take full responsibility for the safety of the Winner during the concert and throughout the duration of travel. Employees of the Promoter, and their immediate families and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
3. The promotion commences April 8, 2013 and closes at 11:59 (AEST) on April 30, 2013. The judging will take place at the Promoter's premises and will begin May 1, 2013. The best entries as determined by the judges will be notified in writing by email (first notification) and phone. The winner will have until May 31, 2013 to confirm prize redemption. This is a game of skill, chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on literary and creative merit and originality. The judges' decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.
4. To be eligible to enter, entrants must during the promotional period purchase issue 15 (cover date 13.04.13) of TV WEEK. Entrants must answer in 25 words or less: "Who in your life deserves to be loved- and why do you want to take him or her to London to see Michael with you?" Entrants must send their answer with the code word 'Collector' to tvweekpromotion@bauer-media.com.au. Entrants must include their name, postal address and daytime contact number/s. Entrants under 18 must include the details of their parent or legal guardian in order to enter.
5. Multiple entries are permitted subject to the following- each entry must be individually submitted according to the entry requirements.
6. Entrants must retain issue 15 (cover date 13.04.13) of TV WEEK magazine as proof of purchase. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including but not limited to an entrants identity, age, place of residence and proof of purchase) and to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these conditions of entry. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
7. The best entry, as determined by the Judges, will be deemed the winner and will win:
- Two return economy air tickets to London from winner's nearest capital city, valued at up to A$6000.
- A double pass to see Michael Bublé in concert at the O2 Arena in London in July. Each ticket valued at A$150.
- A copy of Michael's album To Be Loved, valued at $19.99.
- Four nights accommodation in London at a four star hotel, valued at up to A$3200
- Airport transfers in London to and from the winner's hotel, valued at up to A$500. Total prize pool: A$10,019.99.
8. Validity of entries which include minor errors and omissions
will be determined by the Promoter in its complete discretion.
Determination of what is considered to be "minor" will also be
determined by the Promoter in its complete discretion.
9. Winners must be able to travel to London anytime between June
20 and July 15,2013 and are responsible for, at their own expense,
their own transport to and from the event. Winner and their
companion will be responsible for all necessary travel documents
including passports, visas etc and the Promoter will not be
responsible for any such documentation. If the original winner has
not been able to be contacted by The Promoter prior to 17.00 (AEDT)
by 31 May 2013 (travel date in line with the confirmed Michael
Bublé concert in London) or is not able to travel on the nominated
dates, the Promoter will arrange the winner's trip
to London on another date within 6 months of 31 May
2013, with all the other prize inclusions (airfares and
accommodation) excluding tickets to the Michael Buble concert. If
for any reason whatsoever a winner is under 18 and is unable to be
accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, then that winner will
forfeit their prize and no other prize will be awarded in lieu of
the forfeited prize event to be granted. Identification considered
suitable for verification is at the discretion of the
Promoter.
10. The prize does not include spending money, transfers (other
than those outlined in the prize), additional meals or any other
ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize, unless
otherwise stated. These are the responsibility of the winner. The
nominated airline makes no representation as to the safety,
conditions or other issues that may exist at the destination of
travel.
11. In the event that a portion of the prize is awarded to the
winner in the form of a voucher / ticket / pass/ letter, redemption
of that portion of the prize will be subject to the terms and
conditions stipulated on the voucher / ticket / pass/ letter. The
Promoter will not be liable for any voucher / ticket / pass/ letter
that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any
way. Redemption of ticket/ voucher/ pass/ letter is subject to the
normal business guidelines of the Promoter, event organisers and
venue.
12. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any loss incurred
in the event that the scheduled event is cancelled, postponed or
rescheduled for any reason whatsoever. No correspondence will be
entered into.
13. Prize details are correct as at 8 April 2013. Should the
Michael Bublé concert in London be cancelled or postponed due to
unforeseen circumstances or reasons beyond the control of the
Promoter, the Promoter may at its discretion vary or amend prizes
so as to provide reasonable alternative prizes and the winners
agree that no liability shall be attached to the Promoter or
parties connected to the Promoter as a result.
14. The winner and his/her travelling companion must travel
at the same time, must depart from the same capital city and are
responsible for transport from their residence to their nearest
capital city for flight departure (Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne,
Hobart, Adelaide, Darwin, Brisbane or Perth). Tickets will
not be exchanged for another destination.
15. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner and
their companion agree to be bound by the standard guidelines of the
Promoter, event organisers and venue of event.
16. If for any reason a winner does not take the prize or an
element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then
the prize or that element of the prize will not be redeemable for
cash.
17. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or
disaster, or for any reason which deems the promotion the Promoter
reserves the right (subject to all relevant state and territory
regulations) to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the
promotion
18. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not
capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any
reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter
reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent
permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify,
suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
19. Entries not completed in accordance with the terms and
conditions or received after the closing date will not be
considered. Indecipherable or incomplete entries will be deemed
invalid.
20. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the
Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes
all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury; or
any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct,
indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the
promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the
following: (a) any technical difficulty or equipment malfunction
(whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft,
unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or
prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected
(whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any
reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any
variation in prize value to that stated in these conditions of
entry; (e) if the One Direction performance is cancelled for any
reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (f) any tax
liability incurred by a winner or entrant; (g) redemption of a
prize and/or (h) participation in the promotion.
21. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The
collection, use and disclosure of personal information provided in
connection with this competition is governed by The Privacy Notice
(see contents page for location in this issue).
22. By entering the competition, the entrant consents to receipt
of any email regarding the competition, and other emails which
inform the entrant of the Promoter's other publications, products,
services and events and to promote third party goods and services
it may be interested in
23. It is a condition of accepting a prize that the winner agrees
to be interviewed, photographed and filmed by the Promoter or their
agents at any time during the redemption of the prize. Any footage
filmed, recorded, photographed may be used in a a story or feature
on this promotion to be developed and featured in TV Week magazine,
on the TV Week website, in any form of social media (or any other
form of media it deems suitable) without further remuneration or
reference to the participant. The inclusion of any such feature
(including but not limited to creative control of the feature) will
remain with the Promoter at all times.
24. By entering this promotion, each entrant acknowledges that the
Promoter is entitled to use any of the work (including but not
limited to competition entry) submitted by an entrant for any
purposes whatsoever and in any media for future promotional,
marketing and publicity purposes. All entries become the property
of the promoter. All entries submitted become the property of the
Promoter. Entries will not be returned to any entrant. As a
condition of entering into this promotion, each entrant agrees to
assign all of their rights, title and interest in and to their
entry to the Promoter. Each entrant warrants to the Promoter that
each entry submitted is a creative work of the entrant which does
not infringe the rights of any third party. The entrant agrees to
indemnify the Promoter against all claims and costs by third
parties arising from a breach of the warranty set out in this
condition. The Promoter is entitled to use any of the entries
submitted for any purposes at its discretion, including for any
future promotion, marketing and publicity purposes

Entry is open to all permanent residents of Australia who can attend the 2013 TV WEEK Logie awards on 7/04/2013. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Entrants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to the minor entering this promotion.

The entire promotional period commences on 26/11/2012 at 12:01 (AEDST) and concludes on 10/02/2013 at 11:59 (AEDST). The draw will take place on 21/02/2013 at 10:00am (AEDST) at Roy Morgan Research, 401 Collins St, Melbourne, VIC 3000. The winner will be notified in writing and winner's name will be published in TV week on - sale from 11/03/2013.

To enter, individuals must, during the promotional period, log onto the TV WEEK Logie Awards website www.tvweeklogieawards.com.au, and follow the specific voting instructions to submit a valid vote including all personal details requested (including name, address and daytime telephone number), and the TV WEEK code word (which can be found in all TV WEEK issues on sale during the promotional period), they will receive one (1) entry in the draw for this promotion.

Multiple entries and votes from the same person are not permitted. For the removal of doubt, only one (1) vote and (1) entry per person is permitted. Entrants must retain the product barcode (from the TV WEEK they purchased during the promotional period) for their entry as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the required product barcode for their entry when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of an entrant's entry and forfeiture of any right to a prize.

If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.

Entrants will only receive one (1) entry if they submit a valid vote, in accordance with the terms and conditions for voting, and at the same time submit the TV WEEK code word.

Only votes completed on the official online voting form found on the TV WEEK Logie Awards website will be accepted, and individuals will only receive (1) entry in this promotion if they submit the TV WEEK code word during submission their vote. Incomplete and incomprehensible votes/entries will be considered ineligible and will be discarded.

Double pass to the 2013 TV Week Logie Awards includes 2 seats at a table (meal include) at the 2013 TV Week Logie Awards. The location/seat of the table will be determined by the promoter at it's complete discretion. Any other meals and drinks (unless specified) are at the expense of winner. (The double pass is a general admission only and does not include the winner being able to walk the red carpet or participation in any initiation only or restricted access components of the event).

Prize must be redeemed in full by 7 April 2013, In the event that for any reason whatsoever the prize is not redeemed by this date , the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash, nor any other prize will be awarded in lieu of the prize being forfeited.

A credit card imprint or cash deposit will be required from the winner at check-in of the hotel for all incidental charges. Once accommodation vouchers are issued they are non-changeable.

Prize values are based upon the full fare prices at the time of competition terms lodgement. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate prize redemption date.

The winner (and any companions) must travel on the same dates, depart from and return to the same point of departure and travel together. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize. Standard conditions for tickets and accommodation apply. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. It is the winner's responsibility to ensure that they have all relevant documentation included but not limited to passports/visas in order to travel. All elements of the prize must be taken together within the one trip. The winner will not be compensated for unused portions of the prize.

All prizes must be taken as offered. The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed as cash. If the prize remains unclaimed by 10am AEST on 15/3/2013 an unclaimed prize draw will take place at the same place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. The Promoter reserves the right to draw reserves and record them in the order drawn in the event that the original person drawn or subsequent reserve is deemed ineligible. In order to be eligible to take the prize, the individual must verbally confirm when called by the Promoter that they can take the prize on the nominated date and complied with the terms and conditions. The Promoter will attempt to contact the first person drawn by telephone on five (5) separate occasions. If the first person drawn confirms that they are eligible to take the prize via telephone when the Promoter attempts to contact them, they will be deemed the winner. If the first person drawn cannot confirm that they are eligible to take the prize when called by the Promoter on any of the five (5) separate occasions they will be deemed ineligible. The Promoter will then attempt to contact the second person drawn and the same process as applied to the first person regarding confirming their eligibility to take the prize will apply to the second person drawn. This process will continue until such time as either the Promoter confirms that a person drawn in can take the prize. The unclaimed prize draw winner, if one is required, will be notified in writing within 2 days of being confirmed and published in TV WEEK on-sale from 1/04/2013.

If for any reason the winner does not take the prize (or an element of the prize) at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.

In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or suspend or modify a prize, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.

The Promoter in its complete discretion reserves the right to verify the validity of votes/entries and reserves the right to disqualify any voter/entrant for tampering with the voting/entry process or for submitting a vote/entry which is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the voting/entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. For the removal of doubt, if the Promoter for any reason whatsoever disqualifies a voter then all votes submitted by that voter will not be included in the voting process.

If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to invalidate any votes/entries which it reasonably suspects have been submitted using false, incorrect, fraudulent or misleading information, including but not limited to personal details and contact information and/or entries/votes that have been submitted through the use of multiple identities, email addresses or accounts.

The Promoter reserves the right to request voters/entrants to provide proof of identity and proof of residency at the nominated contact address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the complete discretion of the Promoter.

The 2013 TV WEEK Logie awards ticket prize is subject to the event venue and ticket terms and conditions, including any applicable age restriction. The Promoter and event organisers hereby expressly reserve the right to eject the winner (and/or his/her companion) for any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to intoxication, whilst participating in any element of the prize.

The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow the winner to take part in any or all aspects of the prize, if the Promoter determines, in their absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
