If you could attend the TV WEEK Logie Awards, who would be seated at your dream team table? A Hollywood legend? A political heavyweight? A religious figure? Each to their own, but here's my wish list of guests for the Logies 2013.
1. Melissa George
It's no secret that former Home And Away star Melissa George - oh, she's also been in other stuff, check out IMDB for more info - is proud of her Australian acting career. However Melissa, being an intelligent and engaged individual, loves to speak her mind and may provide some colourful commentary throughout the evening.
2. Graham Kennedy
It would be an honour to sit next to the man who made the Logies his own. Graham collected five Gold Logies during his long career and was inducted into the Logies Hall of Fame in 1998. We also think Graham would have some wisecracks to share about his old mate Bert Newton - priceless.
3. Lindsay Lohan
Remember when a boozy Joan Rivers took to the Logies stage and proceeded to steal the show? It's a classic moment in Aussie TV, and if Lindsay Lohan was around, there's a good chance history could repeat itself. Even if Lindsay was on the straight and narrow, she's a maverick; you never know what she'd bring to the table. Literally.
4. Gordon Ramsay
Not only would he be able to give a hilarious critique of the food on offer, but Gordon's star power (and ego) would probably ensure some cringe-worthy interactions - especially if the My Kitchen Rules and MasterChef judges approached for a chat at the same time.
5. Kanye West
Kanye is another loose cannon who'd provide a "did that just happen" type of moment, especially if Taylor Swift was in the immediate vicinity. Who could forget how he crushed the innocent Taylor at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2009! Plus, he wears funny clothes - like leather kilts - so he'd up the red carpet fashion ante for sure!
6. Frank Sinatra
Ol' Blue Eyes would be right at home amongst the glitz and glamour of the Logies. His old school charm would be just the right ingredient for such a prestigious awards ceremony, and if you gave him a stiff scotch or two, we're sure Frank would be rather frank about his glory days in Hollywood.
