Nominations: Three, for the Gold Logie (1997 -
Kerri-Anne debuted on TV as a teenager in the 1960s, but it was
in 1981 on breakfast show Good Morning Australia that she
finally became a national household name and a regular on the
Logies red carpet. As host of daytime favourite Midday,
Kerri-Anne was finally nominated for a Logie - and it was the Gold.
She was nominated on two other occasions, but on all attempts, lost
out to the juggernaut that was Lisa McCune on Blue
Heelers. While Kerri-Anne now wears the title as 'First lady
of Aussie TV', she remains Logie-less.
